DIRECTIONS TO THE WISCONSIN STATE FAIR PARK

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

ALL trailers must use GATE 1 for check in for Open Show and Junior Show. See maps below for details.

Due to construction near State Fair Park, the normal Gate 9 entrance off 76th Street will be closed. Trucks entering with trailers will need to enter Gate 1 on Greenfield Ave (where it crosses 79^th St) and follow signs in the park to the Beef Expo check in. Gate 1 can be located online here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eSBZBz7W4AuvqRTy5.

Arrival from the north or south: Entering Milwaukee on I-43 (from the north), or along I-94W (from the south), follow I-94W, taking Exit 307A (68^th-70^th St), and follow W O’Conner St along the north side of I-94W to 76^th St. Turn left (south) to Greenfield and turn right (west). Gate 1 will be on your right side at the intersection of Greenfield and 79^th St.

Arrival from the west: Follow I-94E and at the Zoo interchange (I-94/I-894/I-41), follow the signs for 84^th St / Exit 306. At the lights, proceed straight through 84^th St along W Kearney St and turn right (south) on 76^th St. Follow 76^th to Greenfield and turn right (west). Gate 1 will be on your right side at the intersection of Greenfield and 79^th St.

It is recommended that you approach Gate 1 on Greenfield Ave from the east so you do not have to turn across traffic with your trailer.

PARKING:

Parking passes that were purchased online with entries will be handed out when you check in. The check in station will be located before the parking gates.

New in 2024: We are only selling the $9 single entry 1 day pass. (You may upgade this pass to a multi entry pass at the parking booth) The upgrade will cost $3. You will need an entry pass for each day that you want to enter.

Gate Rates for Parking at World Beef Expo

$10 per vehicle for single entry per day
$13 per vehicle for multiple entries per day

Parking fees will be charged on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There will not be parking fees on Wednesday. You will not be required to pay a parking fee if you do not leave the grounds. You may purchase the multiple entry passes at the ticket booths when you enter the grounds.

FROM THE WEST:

Heading east on I-94, take the 84th Street exit. At bottom of ramp, turn right on 84th Street. Enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 5.

FROM THE EAST:

Heading west on 1-94, take the 84th Street exit. Turn left (south) onto 84th Street. Continue on 84th. Enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 5.

FROM THE NORTH:

Heading south on Highway 45, take I-94 East to 84th Street exit. At bottom of ramp, turn right on 84th Street. Enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 5.

Heading south on Highway 43, take I-94 West to 84th Street exit. Turn left (south) onto 84th Street. Continue on 84th. Enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 5..

FROM CHICAGO AND OTHER POINTS SOUTH:

Take I-94 north (toward downtown Milwaukee), and then take I-94 west (toward Madison). Take 84th Street exit. Turn left (south) onto 84th Street. Continue on 84th. Enter Wisconsin State Fair Park at Gate 5.
